Knoxville's Oldest Family-Owned Furniture Store
Established in 1944 by George Hoffner Sr. and Jr., Vine Furniture has served Knoxville for nearly eight decades as a family-owned business. Our commitment to quality products, superior customer service, and free local delivery has sustained us through four generations of the Hoffner family. Originally operating on Vine Avenue, we relocated to Summit Hill Drive in the 1970s while maintaining our reputation built on word-of-mouth referrals and multigenerational customer loyalty. Despite closing our retail operations in 2022 after 78 years, our legacy reflects dedication to providing home furnishings, major appliances, and consumer electronics. We prioritized community relationships and repeat business over traditional marketing, earning trust through consistent service excellence. Our decision to retire followed careful consideration of family circumstances and market conditions, ensuring we concluded operations on our own terms while maintaining gratitude for customer support.
