Custom Woodworking Solutions in Michigan Center
Keinath & Sons is a family-owned woodworking business founded on a passion for craftsmanship and hands-on learning. Our journey began when Steve Keinath, the patriarch, developed a love for woodworking through the Jackson Makerspace and his garage workshop. His sons, Donovan and Everett, joined the effort, starting with simple projects like forts and progressing to complex custom furniture. Over time, we've created a diverse range of wooden structures, from bespoke benches and desks to coffee tables and corn hole boards, always prioritizing quality and client collaboration. Our process involves working closely with customers to design personalized pieces, whether through sketches or digital references. Beyond furniture, we've expanded into crafting cat furniture and trays, driven by creative experimentation and community needs. The boys have gained invaluable skills in woodworking, business operations, and sales, reflecting our commitment to experiential learning. We take pride in using sustainable materials, such as reclaimed wood, and modern techniques like pocket-hole joinery for clean finishes. Our projects, including award-winning fair entries and custom charcuterie boards, showcase our dedication to detail and innovation. Through our YouTube channel, Two Kids Woodworks, we share our journey to inspire others. Every creation tells a story of family collaboration, craftsmanship, and the joy of turning ideas into tangible works of art.
