Raiatea Woodworks is a small custom woodworking shop owned by Stan and Kathy Gollaher. Stan started building furniture from local hardwoods on the island of Raiatea, French Polynesia in 1978. They moved home to San Diego, CA in 1983 and continued to build furniture, but specialized in custom cabinets. The family moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 1990 where Stan returned to building custom furniture out of local island hardwoods.
